Jay Carter Roofing successfully completed three large challenging re‐roof installations with removal of asbestos at two of the locations of the popular restaurant chain, The Keg. The scope of the projects included: removing existing cedar shake, a full remediation of a level three asbestos, re sheathing the entire roof deck with half inch plywood, applying synthetic felt under lament as well as ice and water shield and installing a new line of Owens Corning Oakridge Premium shingles. Re flashing of chimneys, wall coping and counter flashing was also completed.
Due to the urgency of completing these projects ASAP, Jay Carter Roofing was scheduled over the holiday season. This created significant challenges for Jay Carter Roofing since the time available to work during the day had been cut short because of the restaurants extending its hours of operation. Regardless of the challenges with working to accommodate an operating restaurant, dealing with asbestos removal, bad weather, budgeting, and safety Jay Carter Roofing exhibited professionalism and expertise at all levels of the process as they successfully completed these projects. |

Vic- West Mercury Panels Aluminum Composite Material, commonly known as ACM panels, consists of two thin sheets of aluminum continuously bonded to a polyethylene core. Known for its flexibility, durability and versatility, ACM is completely customizable. Its strength-to-weight ratio, clean lines and extreme flatness have made the material a preferred choice in metal panels for commercial construction. For new construction, no other material offers a more creative allowance while maintaining such a clean and modern look. In retrofit applications, it most often can be installed directly over the old exterior without the need to remove the existing facade. |
